Fixed. Press CTRL+F5 to empty your cache and the images should work again.
If any of you plans to move a phpbb installation to another server, make sure to ftp the uploaded files folder in binary mode.

You can get there by clicking on your username in the top-right corner of the page just below the search bar, it's the first item in the dropdown.
