Sample cart dumped

Wednesday, April 10th, 2024

Kc57 was able to dump the sample cart he purchased, reported earlier, thanks to getting a Sanni Cart Reader and a donor PM cart adapter.

Unfortunately, the contents were exactly the same as the Pokémon Party mini JP cartridge. The PCB is still interesting though!

Given that it’s MPF (Multi-Purpose Flash) it should be writable. I can’t find any datasheet for the SST39VN016-120-4C-WH chip, though.

First demo of Silver Falls Mini released

Saturday, March 9th, 2024

Silver Falls Mini from the Kickstarter from a bit ago has seen its first demo release!

The game plays as a sort of virtual pet type game where you manage a team of everyday people on North Island and help them to fend off the monsters who have appeared there.

You can track the progress of the game and find the demo here.

New insideGadgets flash cart RELEASED

Tuesday, March 28th, 2023

Get the Pokemon Mini 2mb Flash Cart with GBx edge adapter here for $42 USD or an extra cart (if you want two) for another $34.

Get the GBxCart RW v1.4 Pro here for $30 USD (+$2 if you need the USB cable). This is required for flashing the cart.

So that’s a total of $72 USD minimum, shipping from Australia (mine to US was $13 for the cheapest option, though I bought some other items too).
